WE ARE SMILING UNDERNEATH IT ALL!!

We are confident that we can make our beloved studio
a low risk environment for us all to find our new happy 'Yoga norm'.
We know there's a long list of stern sounding rules, protocols and procedures to now follow,
but please read and understand them before attending class, so that we can all be kept happy and safe!
It's important to remember these are subject to change at any time,
so please please please... please... make sure you keep yourself updated by checking out this info regularly.

* PLEASE DO NOT ATTEND if you or anyone in your household has had COVID-19 symptoms in the last 7 days, and that if you develop symptoms within 7 days of visiting the premises, you MUST use the Test, Track and Trace system to alert others with whom you have been in contact.

*We are limiting numbers to 8, in 3 staggered rows, with 2m distance (nose to nose) between students.

*We can no longer offer studio equipment, so you will need to bring your own (see below for details).

* When arriving at the studio, you'll be coming through the side door, there will be a sign pointing the way.
 Observe social distancing
at the demarcated social distance markers along the wall of the School
(remember you might need a brolly!).

* Your teacher will open the door approx 10mins before the start of class.
Use the hand sanitiser as you come in.
There will be 'socially distanced' coat hooks in the big room for you to leave your shoes and hang your coats etc.
Bring any valuables into the studio.

* Sanitise your hands again before entering the studio (there is a sanitiser at the studio door).

* Mat spaces will be marked with black tape on the floor, which marks where you place the front of your mat.

* When entering the studio, please fill the back spaces first, so if you arrive first you'll be at the back,
and if you arrive last you'll be at the front!

* We will be airing and disinfecting the studio between classes,
so sometimes it might be chilly when you come in - so bring warm clothes!

* Face coverings?
We ask that everyone (including us) wear a face covering when entering the building until you get to your mat,
(it's then up to you if you leave it on or take it off),
and put it back on again when leaving your mat until you are out of the building.
Remember some people may make a different choice to you about practicing in a face covering.

* Avoid touching your face, and it's advisable to bring your own hand sanitiser to your mat.

* You are encouraged not to chat in the building if you are not wearing a mask.

* You will not be able to get changed on the premises, so arrive wearing the correct clothing.

* Us teachers will no longer be walking around class, or making any physical adjustments or shoulder massages.
We will remain in front of the class firmly on our mats!

* Please follow the Government Covid Guidelines if you feel unwell. You may be asked to leave class if you are unwell.

* We keep a register of attendees in the class. These are kept confidential, and may be used for contact tracing if necessary.

* The Old School Committee who runs the building will have the right to close the Community Centre if there are safety concerns relating to COVID-19. We will keep you informed if you are a regular attendee to class.

.......................................................................

* You will be required to fill out a participation form when attending class for the first time,
regardless of if you have filled one out already.
Each teacher will have a form for you.

* Each teacher has individual payment policies.

*  Turn your mobile phone to silent, or if you need it on, then have it on vibrate next to your mat.

*  Best not to have anything heavy to eat for 2 hours before class (see Q&A for more info).

*  Try not to wear strong perfume.

*  Remember you don't have to do all the practices in class - Yoga is about self awareness, giving yourself time to recharge,
so build your practice over time,
back off when needed and when all else fails.... focus on your breath!
